The amazing art tree

Okay this isn't the amazing art tree but I did want to take a picture of this really cool clock I got. Now on with the story of the amazing art tree. I have this friend ( you know who you are) that had this amazing tree. I said I love that tree I must have that tree and Christmas eve look what I have...... the tree
Now she used it for other things but one look at it and I knew it would be the amazing art tree
Over the years I have met some wonderful people on my blog and at art websites. We have traded art back and forth, and many have sent me art.
So, today I took a lot of the art that I have received ( not all I need to go buy more clips) and attached that art to my tree. I also added a lot of art that I have made over the years as well.
I hope you enjoy and look to see if you see any of the art that you have sent me.... Patti, the Breakfast at Tiffany's piece isn't under there as it is holding a special place of honor in my Audrey Hepburn inspired library.


It all started with this dress form years ago. I would attach many of the ATC's I made or traded to it. That is how I got the idea of how to use the tree

Cookie Exchange in Nags Head

Some of the most amazing people showed up for our Cookie Exchange. Forget Martha Stewart forget Paula Deen ( OMG did I really say that) forget Ina forget Rachal but do remember these amazing faces. What a time we had..... not as many people showed up as we thought we would have but all in all a great time at the clubhouse.

The day after

Well, what a day
first...had to work 7-2 during that time the storm came and ended up having to close the store anyway at 2.
Next I get home and just start to change into something comfy when the phone rings...alarm call so back onto the horrible roads to the store to check it out.... nothing
Come home finish trying to get my new Kindle up and running and wouldn't you know I have a password protected Internet service. I have no idea what my password is. Call Charter, finally get the password and still it will not work.
Wonderful guy at Charter Cable resets my password and even takes the time to help me with my Kindle. Believe me he got all three's at the end of that call.
Kindle up and running then I turn it off to grab a bite to eat come back and it won't turn back on...
Now it is Amazon's turn. I call Amazon and wow..... great customer service not only did she show me how to fix my Kindle but she took the time to help me buy my first book.
So, what's next?
Well, next is inventory then I am going to catch up on emails to friends, work on some much needed art projects and just veg for awhile.
Rick and I are spending Valentine's Day in Vegas this year and I am so looking forward to that

Merry Christmas

Well, I hope everyone had under their tree what they wished for this year. I know I had what I wished for and even more.
Santa this year stuff under the tree
A 3G Kindle and a hundred dollar gift card
A 50 dollar gift card to Starbucks....
A hair curler/straighter called the Instyler
Three sweaters and.........................................A cruise to Italy in September of 2012!
My favorite place in all the world....
Thanks Santa you are toally amazing oh and did I tell you how hot you are?

OH MY you will never believe this two sheets for one buck

insane totally insane for only one dollar you get not one but both sheets.
