Hectic Week

Wow, and just when I thought it wouldn't or couldn't get much more hectic that it is..........  IT DOES.
I at least get to sleep in a few minutes later tomorrow.....  Then off on Thursday to make a ton of cake pop balls.  Sunday is decorate 500 cake pop ball day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A new Panama Jack 26" bike.  I purchased a new basket for it with a lid and liner.  I can't wait to start riding on those cool fall days here in the OBX.  How exciting!!!!  yay

Where has the time went?

Wow, hard to believe that summer is half way through.  I went to the Dr. today and have lost a grand total of 65 lbs.  I want to lose the last 30 pounds then I will be exactly where I want to be.
I am giving myself until January 1st!
I would say it should be easy but.....................................  losing weight never is easy.
One of the hardest things I have ever done a million times. lol
I have lost, gained, lost, gained and gained
This time it is a total life change not just the losing weight but changing my life and the way I look at food.
No longer do I live for the day that I can go out to eat at a restaurant or have that meal of a lifetime over and over again.
This is my life from now on and I just have to get used to it.
I will always be a person whom will have to watch what they eat.  I own it, embrace it but gosh don't I wish it was different.

Cropstop's Summer Blog HOP Veronica's Challenge and Letter

My Challenge is all about 3D!  Make it pop, stand up, jump out whatever you like.  Make it a page, a card, an ATC even an altered item but whatever you do make it 3D.  

Below you will find a card that I made very near and dear to my heart.  This is a card I am sending to my wonderful brother of the woman who raised us also known as Grandma to us.

My Vintage Train Case

For several years now I have really wanted a vintage train case to alter. I wanted to do one similar to the one that Tim Holtz did when he altered a vintage train case.

I have been looking high and low and found this on ebay for .99 cents opening bid.  I placed a bid for 25.00 dollars and the opening bid never went up.  I guess the $15.00 shipping charge kept other bidders away.  So here you have it.

what a day

That is all I have to say.................. what a day

On the way out the door

This is it!!!! Heading out the door for a 24 hour Relay for Life walk and deocorate a cupcake event. I am not only excited but scared to DEATH. Unless I was on a flight to somewhere overseas....I have never been up 24 hours! lol
And even then I was able to sleep or get up and walk around.
Guess this is a test since we are going to Bora Bora, Fiji in three years!

AS promised

Okay we are now at the 60lb mark!!!!!! only 30 more to go and I am at my goal and the smallest I think I have ever been! Next picture at the 70 lb mark since it is getting harder and harder now..lol

This week

First was a cool case for the new Ipod touch Rick bought me. I love purple Next this little dolly I love.... I just had to have her to remind me that Rick and I will be heading to Paris

Grace by Philosophy While this isn't my favorite it is nice. I am in love with Inner Grace by Philosophy and this is pure grace and amazing grace shower gel, bubble bath.

At work they had this really neat Kindle carrying case for your Kindle. I saw the yellow and knew it had to come home with me. A bargin for 7.99

Rick bought a case just like this except it wasn't lighted for my Kindle when I got it at Christmas. The Kindle kept resetting itself or would just turn off on it's own. I called Amazon and they refunded the price of the case plus gave me a $25.00 gift card to purchase the new lighted case. I guess there was an issue with the metal on the first edition cases. So, now I have this new case with a built in light. I didn't realize just how much I would use the light but now when I can't sleep instead of waking up Rick I just reach over and grab Kindle then read for a little bit.

This week I received some neat stuff in the mail. I also went shopping at work and found some awesome deals. More details to follow. Gosh it feels good to blog again
