Almost time to go away for a week.
Vacation is starting tomorrow at 4 p.m. and I can't wait. I need a break time just to get away from work for a week. There is no internet where I am going so it will be a week before I get back. so, until then have a great week.

I made this Halloween ATC for my friend Patti. I plan on sending her several of the Halloween ones that I am making. This is rather macabe even for me but hey it's Halloween.

My good friends Dottie and Barbra Joan

have both started new blogs.
I would like to introduce you to both
Barbra Joan's is about her Journey.... her life in quilts, words, etc. She also has a beautiful art blog called Art Hearts Place where what she can do with a pencil and water color brings tears to my eyes so stop by both
Dottie has two blogs as well..... Her Recipe blog is amazing it is all about down home southern cooking and to be honest I can't wait to make her hot molton lava cake. She does take requests for recipes so stop on over. Her other blog is Holiday floral creations. She can take flowers and make masterpieces out of them.

Department 56 I love you

I bought this lava lamp from Dept 56 at TJmaxx for only $4.99 it is a lava lamp that hooks into any usb port on your laptop.
Her skirt is the lava lamp and you can't really see but she lights up totally. They had witches and draculas. I loved the witch so I bought her.
When I turn off my laptop she shuts down too.
Too freaking cute and for only five bucks after my discount it was only 3.99. I love her.

I have found it

I love this new background not too busy, not to loud, not to macabe. It just fits me.

I had a fantastic Halloween background and header but..... I grew very tired of it.
So, now I am trying out my Tiffany Blue background...if I could only find an Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffany's background I would be all set.
ON a different note I was approached by several people to have their stores listed on my blog. One would give me 100.00 dollars the other a ring valued at 140.00 dollars. I will admit the thought did cross my mind but...... this is my blog where I talk to you and show you my art. I am sure the last thing anyone wants to see is ads.
So, I am staying ad free

What to do and where to eat in VEGAS?

Rick and I will be heading out to Vegas on October 13th for a long weekend. What should we do and where are the must eats while in Vegas? I don't want to spend $100.00 bucks for a meal but just an average place at an average dollar amount. I do know that I must have In N Out burger just one day...lol
So, I am dying to know what should we make sure to see or do and where should we make it a trip to dine? let me know
