Where have I been?

Crazy crazy summer we have had.  Work was insane, ended up sick, death in family you name it.  But I am back and going to do a much better job of posting my art and updates.

My Birthday card for Tamara

I had a blog post all ready to go for Tamara's Birthday Blog Hop, then disaster happened.  I thought I may of had something wrong with my computer because a website called electric static and Australian brewing kept popping up saying I needed to upgrade my Java.  I click out of there but it kept happening over and over again.  The last straw was all my blog posts were not working, getting lost, not posting etc.  Finally I knew I would have to have my laptop fixed.
Christopher from next door was able to fix it in a flash drive... lol get it? flash then drive? oh well I digress anyway here is her Birthday card and it was mailed on Saturday.

Valentine's from my Sugar Boo Bear or aka My husband

This year I was totally surprised by my Valentine's gift.  I was in the studio the other day and made a comment on how I needed to run up to Wal-Mart and buy some thread.  ( on the island we only have a Wal-Mart that is it.  So, he went up to Walmart with me and I purchased a white and black spool as well as two olives.  Then three days later this showed up.  WOW what a guy.  He listened to just a simple comment and purchased this for me.  Not only did I get this but also a gift certificate to Joann's for patterns and fabric.
