Here are a couple of the ATC's I made today.
Of course I used my digi images from Patty over at www.lisasalteredart.com for the first one.
This ATC I used Tim Holtz's fragments. On both atc's I used glossy accents

Wow, imagine my surprise when I got home from Nags Head and this was waiting for me.

About a year or so ago Patti and I started trading back and forth ATC's. Every other month one would chose the theme. Patti chose the 7 deadly sins.

I have to tell you Patti is an aclaimed artist. I mean she has won awards has had her art in shows she is just well, freaking amazing. I told her I just wanted to slip into her head for one day.

The stuff she does just blows me away. With the move coming up I haven't had time to look at peoples blogs lately. I went to hers to get her blog addy to post and god once again blown away.

As most of you know Rick and I went to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to look for a new home.

We left Wednesday night so I wasn't able to post Patty's Wednesday deal but here it is.

There is only one other person that lives here year round everyone else is just summer.

There is a pool and it is huge for only I think there is only like 16 units? Then there is this walk that goes all along the water and boat launches boat slips etc.

I love love love this place!!!!

My brand new kitchen. This condo has never been lived in before and is brand spakin new see that micro? well it just isn't a micro it is one of those fancy smancy microwaves with hi tech baking..lol

The last three days......

We had to drive down and see the house that was in the movie nights in rodanthe. We had a blast the picture above was taken by someone else here but the pictures below were all ours. As you can see above the hosue was ready to be taken in by the sea. Such a shame. The house is called Serendipity. Most of the houses in the OBX have darling names.

This is Serendipity now. She has been lifted from her moorings and will be moved down the beach to an area where she will not be taken by the sea

Just look at the tourists. It was a major major deal today to watch them get it ready for the big move.

Rick took these amazing pictures of the house on the move. I just get chills knowing that in just six weeks Rick and I will be moving to the OBX. We found our house and yes it is on the water.

We are on the sound side and I have pictures to post of the house in another post.

We are beyond ourselves with such happiness. There are a million worse places to live than the outer banks that is for sure. I have NEVER in all my years and I have traveled the world met such friendly people.

You stop for gas and you have a new friend. True Story: We stopped for gas and Rick was pumping the gas and I am telling you new friend. The gentleman pumping gas next to Rick gave him a card, suggestions for eating etc.

Realtors Wow:::: Let me just say OBX has the friendliest Realtors too.

Restaurants? Tons but most close down for the season we did however find several that were open and once again friendly friendly people.

Rick made a comment a few years ago..... He said wouldn't it be great to move to a place where everyone knew your name? Where you have someone you know on every corner. Where a neighbor is truly a friend?

Well, I think we found the place....OBX here we come!!! and we can't wait

Weekend ART

I wanted to make a manly man ATC. The challenge this month was postage stamps. This is a Valentine Rubberstamp holder of course with an ATC on top. I used Tim Holtz's furnace tape technique.
