So, my KSS (kindred soul sister) Miss T ( Toni) sent me this great book. Thanks T ! Anyway, I am looking at this book thinking hummmmmmm I don't cook French food but Miss T has a knack of knowing things and she inspires me everyday to seek out new so, I open the book thinking it is just a cookbook.....WRONG!!!!! What an interesting book about Simone Beck her travels, life during the war, her homes in France etc. I read that book cover to cover in just two DAYS!! and it is a big book..lol

Go to your library and check out the book you may even try some of the recipes (not me) but you might. Ms. Beck has a way with words and if you close your eyes you might even feel like you are there.
V, give the book to someone you know who might like it. I won't read it again, although I enjoyed it.
